Fun DIY 3D Geometric Paper Sculpture

Wanted to share this very cool paper sculpture. It looks a lot more complicated than what it really is. Watch the video to see full details. I thought it looked pretty cool in just white too. Or what about just black and white? Ohhhh... now my wheels are turning!

Supplies Needed For This Project:

FREE Paint Saturday! Will go QUICK!

FREE quart of paint this Saturday at your local ACE Hardware!
I use latex paint for tons of different projects. So I always have different quarts and samplers around the house at all times. Did you know that if you are a painter you can use flat white latex paint to coat your canvas instead of gesso?

Free Quart of Paint at Ace Hardware THIS Saturday - “Like” on Facebook, print the coupon, redeem at your local ACE Hardware store Saturday March 17th. Hurry, each store is giving away 40 quarts total, so get there before supply runs out.

Art Classes Give the Creative Person The Green Light To Do Something For Themselves

Get Inspire

I saw this Crayola video clip and had to share. As an art teacher, I couldn't agree with this more. Where and when do adults lose their creativity? I see it already in high school in some of my students. At what point do we stop "playing" with ideas and concepts and get concrete? Why do some lose their creativity and some don't? Do we really lose it or is it just buried under all the "stuff" that we start to do and get told as we get older? Hmmm... SO many questions!

The Craftsy Block of the Month is a completely free, year-long online class instructed by expert quilter, Amy Gibson. There are 12 installments, each one posted on the first day of every month. The first 10 months/installments teach our students two new exciting blocks (brand new designs or funky spins on traditional blocks). The last two months are dedicated to finishing the quilt. At the end of the class, our students will have full-size and one-of-a-kind quilts. Like all of our classes, students can view it whenever it’s convenient for them, and can watch them however many times they’d like. It’s filmed in high-definition, and it’s fully interactive---students can ask Amy questions as they go.
